Completed A Winner Stands Alone by Paul Coelho today. Initially by its preface it seemed that it will be an inspiring story like the ones we are used to : a man battling with difficulties and making efforts to win despite of desolate circumstances. That's why A winner Stands Alone.
Igor made himself reached to the apex of life by possessing all of the things money could buy, his marriage with Ewa was an auspicious event that happened in his life. But chasing the "love of his life" i.e his work, unfortunately he forgot the importance of Ewa which he tried to gain in the Film Festival of Cannes by destroying the worlds of others. His unexpected ultimate realization astounded me i.e he no longer wanted her.
All around it was a novel describing the background and the dreams with which people came to Cannes for fulfilling their ambitions.
